Asbestos Awareness Week is on from 19-25 November to raise awareness of asbestos and where asbestos materials could be found within your home. Play it safe with asbestos – before you or your tradesperson renovate, know what asbestos is and how to manage it safely.

Asbestos Awareness Week 2016 launch

Join us on Tuesday 22 November at 11.30am in Reddacliff Place, 266 George Street, together with Channel 7′s House Rules winners Luke and Cody Cook and safety advocates Don and Julie Sager. They’ll share their experiences around safely managing asbestos when renovating.

NOVA 106.9 will be onsite to entertain you and with some great giveaways. There will also be demonstrations to show you how to do simple tasks safely around asbestos, to help protect you and your family.

Bunnings information displays

Inspectors will be on hand to answer questions from the public and to provide useful information for all those home renovators visiting Bunnings stores.

We’ll be at Cannon Hill, Carseldine, Stafford, Burleigh Waters, Rockhampton and Townsville Central.
